SUS 304L stainless steel is an austenitic grade that can be severely deep drawn. This property has resulted in 304 stainless steel being the dominant grade used in applications like sinks and saucepans.
Readily fabricated by most cold working methods, SUS 304L stainless steel may require intermediate annealing to avoid cracking or tearing from radical deformation.
