Steel plate cutting safety guidelines

Preparation Before Operation: Ensure the work area is well-ventilated and brightly lit, and check that the cutting equipment is in good condition and the power cord is undamaged. Clear the work area of debris to prevent slips or interference with operation. Wear complete protective equipment, including a safety helmet, safety glasses, dust mask, and cut-resistant gloves, to reduce the risk of injury from flying debris and dust.

Operating Procedures: Before starting the equipment, ensure it is securely fixed, and only begin cutting after it is running normally. Avoid placing fingers near the cutting area, and the workpiece must be clamped to prevent loosening. Do not adjust the angle or change settings while the equipment is running, and ensure smooth operation.

Emergency and Cleanup: After cutting, turn off the power first, and wait for the equipment to stop completely before removing the workpiece. A fire extinguisher should be available on site; in case of fire, immediately cut off the power and call for help. Promptly clean up metal shavings to maintain a clean environment and prevent pollution and secondary injuries.
