SA387 grade 91 steel plate for nuclear power plant

SA387 grade 91 steel plate is for nuclear power plants, SA387 grade 91 is ASME chromium molybdenum alloy steel, which has hydrogen embrittlement, hydrogen corrosion, hydrogen stripping, and sulfide corrosion properties in a medium temperature (350 - 480℃) hydrogen environment, and has good performance, low temper brittleness. SA387 grade 91 steel plate is widely used in the manufacture of fertilizers, petrochemicals and thermal power plant equipment, such as synthetic ammonia reactors, coal gasifiers, shift furnaces and hydrogenation reactors.

Mechanical properties of SA387 grade 91 steel plate: tensile strength ≥585 MPa, yield strength ≥415 MPa, elongation ≥20%.

SA387 grade 91 steel can be used as steel tubes for high temperature superheater and reheater of subcritical and supercritical boilers with wall temperature ≤625, high temperature headers and steam pipes with wall temperature ≤600, as well as nuclear power heat exchangers and furnace tubes of petroleum cracking units.
