S450J0 material is hot-rolled non alloy steel under EN10025-2. The steel number of 450J0 material is 1.0590. The regular thickness of EN 10025 2 steel plate S450J0 material is not more than 400mm. The strength, toughness and hardenability of S450J0 material are higher than that of 45# steel. The comprehensive mechanical properties and cutting performance of S450J0 material are good, but the welding performance is poor, the cold deformation plasticity is low, and there is a tendency of tempering brittleness. EN 10025 2 steel plate S450J0 material is welcomed in riveted, bolted, or welded construction of bridges and buildings. S450J0 material is generally used in the quenched and tempered state.
