EN 10025-4 steel is thermomechanical rolled weldable fine grain structural steel. S355M thermomechanical rolled structural steel is with a specified minimum yield strength at ambient temperature of 355MPa, and with a specified minimum value of impact energy at -20°C.

2. A brittle structure of the heat affected zone
3. Significant tensile stress concertrations in the welded joint.
