Indonesia's extension of anti-dumping duties on S235JR carbon steel etc. non-alloy steel sheets

On April 9, 2019, the Ministry of Finance of Indonesia issued Announcement No. 25/PMK.010/2019, deciding to continue to impose anti-dumping duties on iron or S235JR carbon steel etc. non-alloy steel sheets/coils (Canai Lantaian dari Besiatau Baja Bukan Paduan) originating in or importing from mainland China, India, Russia and Belarus, Kazakhstan, Taiwan and Thailand with width exceeding 600 mm, with tariffs ranging from 0% to 20%.

The decision will take effect 14 days after the date of publication and the validity period is 5 years. The Indonesian tax numbers of the products involved are 7208.10.00, 7208.25.00, 7208.26.00, 7208.27.11, 7208.27.19, 7208.27.91, 7208.27.99, 7208.36.00, 7208.37.00, 7208.38.00, 7208.39.10, 7208.39.90, ex.7208.90, ex.7208.90.20 and ex.7208.90. Therefore, S235JR carbon steel, S355JR plate, ss400 mild steel, astm a572 grade 50 plate etc. steel products are included.
