Shipbuilding structural steel

Shipbuilding structure steel, refers to the hot rolled steel that used to make the shipbuilding structure based on the classification society specification requirement. It often as special steel orders, arrange production, sale. And the ship plates and section steel included normally.
According to the min yield strength, the shipbuilding steel divide into general strength structural steel and high strength structural steel. The general strength structural steel includes A,B,C and D four levels, and the high strength structural steel includes three grades and four quality level based on the classification society specification.
The classification society contains CCS, DNV,GL,ABS,LR,BV, KR,NK and RINA.
Shipbuilding steel plate properties
The general strength structural steel includes A,B,C and D four grade. These four grade has the same yield strength and tensile strength, only the impact test energy is different under different temperature.
The high strength structural steel divide into different strength level, and there will be A,D,E and F four grade based on different impact test toughness.
The yield strength is more than 315N/mm^2 for A32,D32,E32 and F32, tensile strength is 440～570N/mm^2. A,D,E and F means the impact test toughness under 0°,-20°,-40°and -60°temperature.
The yield strength is more than 355N/mm^2 for A36,D36,E36 and F36, tensile strength is 490～620N/mm^2. A,D,E and F means the impact test toughness under 0°,-20°,-40°and -60°temperature.
The yield strength is more than 390N/mm^2 for A36,D36,E36 and F36, tensile strength is 510～660N/mm^2. A,D,E and F means the impact test toughness under 0°,-20°,-40°and -60°temperature.
