The quantity, shape and distribution of the second phase in addition to the substrate often have a significant impact on the wear resistance of the steel. At this time, it is necessary to consider the chemical composition design, smelting, heat processing, heat treatment (including thermal mechanical treatment) and other aspects of the wear resistant steel plates, so as to strive to achieve the requirements of improving the wear resistance from the metallurgical factors.
