Material Characteristics
Cold rolled 316 stainless steel BA 8K mirror plate is based on 316L austenitic stainless steel. After cold rolling, it undergoes a BA (bright annealing) treatment. The surface undergoes multiple precision grinding and polishing steps to achieve an 8K mirror finish. Its nickel-molybdenum alloy composition provides excellent corrosion resistance, making it particularly suitable for marine environments and high chloride ion content. Its surface reflectivity is ≥90%, and its finish reaches nanometer levels, making it both fingerprint-resistant and wear-resistant.

Process Advantages
A three-stage polishing process consisting of coarse grinding (80#-600# grinding wheels), fine grinding (wool felt + abrasive fluid), and ultra-fine grinding eliminates oxide layers and pinholes, ensuring a smooth finish without grinding marks or scratches. BA pre-treatment reduces the difficulty of subsequent polishing. Double-sided 8K requires a protective backing plate, costing three times the cost of single-sided processing, but it achieves a flawless, mirror-like finish on both sides.

Applications: Widely used in high-end building curtain walls, elevator cabins, luxury display cases, and medical equipment finishes, its mirror-like reflective properties enhance the visual depth of a space. Titanium plating allows for customizable colors such as rose gold and sapphire blue to meet personalized decorative needs.
