42CrMo4 plate exports of China decreased year on year from January to April

From January to April, China (referring to mainland China only, the same below) imported 4.184 million tons of 42CrMo4 plate and so on steel products, an increase of 7.4% year-on-year; imported billets were 2.208 million tons, an increase of 655.7% year-on-year; imported steel ingots were 19,000 tons, an increase of 106.9% year-on-year. Equivalent to crude steel imports of about 6.59 million tons. From January to April, the average price of imported 42CrMo4 plate and so on steel in China was US$1051.8/ton, down 13.8% year-on-year; the average price of imported steel billets was US$437.9/ton, down 49.8% year-on-year.

From January to April, China exported 20.601 million tons of 42CrMo4 plate and so on steel products, down 11.8% year on year; exported 9000 tons of steel billets, down 16.7% year on year; equivalent to crude steel exports of about 21.47 million tons. From January to April, the average price of 42CrMo4 plate and so on steel exports from China was US$762.9/ton, down 3.6% year-on-year.
