Plates of unalloyed as well as alloyed steels for pressure loaded vessels and facilities, operating under normal as well as elevated temperatures. Boiler plates acc.to EN 10028-2 are usually delivered in normalized condition or in normalized & tempered condition.
Pressure Vessel& Boiler Plates of Fine-Grain Steels acc. to EN 10028-3
Boiler plates acc.to EN 10028-3 have guaranteed fine-grain structure and low carbon equivalent. Mechanical properties of these plates are guaranteed at high temperatures (up to 400 °C) - yield strength Rp0,2 as well as at low temperatures (down to -50 °C) - impact energy KV; therefore they can be used for construction of more demanding pressure vessels working under high as well as low temperatures.
Thermomechanical rolled plates having higher yield strength up to 460 MPa are designed for pressure vessels and facilities working under normal or low temperatures. Boiler plates acc.to EN 10028-5 have excellent weldability because of low carbon equivalent. Impact energy is guaranteed even at temperature -50 °C.
