Please can you advise the difference between EN19 (used in the UK) and S45C (used in Korea) grades of steel or if it is equivalent.
These are different grades with different properties and compositions. S45C is quality carbon grade as well as EN19 is alloyed grade with higher content of Cr, Mo and Mn. The Japanese / Korean equivalent of this grade is SCM440.
