Welding performance of 15CrMo alloy pipe

Welding material of 15CrMo alloy pipe:
According to the weldability characteristics of 15CrMo alloy pipe and the previous experience, and referring to the welding process cards provided by foreign countries, we have chosen two schemes for welding test.

Scheme I: Welding preheating using ER80S-B2L wire, T1G welding bottom, E8018-B2 electrode, electrode arc welding cover, local heat treatment after welding.
Scheme II: ER80S-B2L welding wire, T1G welding backing, E309Mo-16 electrode, electrode filling arc welding cover, no heat treatment after welding.

Post weld heat treatment of 15CrMo alloy pipe:
The 15CrMo alloy pipe specimens welded with scheme I shall be subjected to partial high temperature tempering after welding. The heat treatment process is as follows: the heating rate is 200℃/h, Heat up to 715 degrees for 1 hours and 15 minutes, Cooling rate is 100℃/h. Air cooling is used when the temperature is reduced to 300 degrees centigrade.
