ASTM A572 grade 50 hot rolled carbon steel plate adopts niobium vanadium microalloying design, with a yield strength of ≥ 345MPa, combining high strength and good plasticity. Its hot rolling process ensures that the thickness tolerance is controlled within ± 0.3mm, suitable for cold processing such as stamping and bending. During welding, preheating at least 150 ℃ is required to avoid cracks.
A572 grade 50 carbon steel sheet is widely used in load-bearing structures such as building frames and crane booms, especially suitable for dynamic load environments. Compared with ordinary Q235B, its fatigue life is increased by about 40%, and its cost-effectiveness is significantly better than similar high-strength steels.
Domestic engineering projects often use Q355B instead of A572 grade 50 for non critical parts, but when it comes to American standard certification, the original model still needs to be used. During storage, it is necessary to apply anti rust oil and avoid water accumulation between layers to maintain surface quality.
Just like you, 70% customers choose long-term cooperation with BBN steel not only for our good product and service quality, good reputation in the international market, but also for our experienced one-stop raw material supply and further steel processing!
