301 S30100 1.4310 SUS301 stainless steel

301 (S30100/1.4310/SUS301) is the code name of the same austenitic stainless steel in different standard systems, with exactly the same material properties. Its chromium and nickel contents are 16-18% and 6-8% respectively. Through cold working, it can obtain a tensile strength of up to 1500MPa, which is an ideal material for elastic components.

These three codes correspond to: S30100 of ASTM standard, 1.4310 of EN standard and SUS301 of JIS standard. Although the names are different, the chemical composition and mechanical performance indicators are basically the same. The main difference lies in the test methods and acceptance criteria of each standard system.

301 stainless steel material is widely used in medical devices, electronic product connectors and rail transportation. Its excellent fatigue resistance and corrosion resistance make it particularly suitable for manufacturing parts that bear dynamic loads for a long time.

When purchasing, you need to choose the corresponding standard product according to the target market. S30100 is commonly used in the European and American markets, SUS301 is preferred in the Japanese and Korean markets, and the 1.4310 standard is used in the EU market. Test reports of different standards have equal validity.
