Pipeline Technology leadership

Micro alloying heat treatment technology is adopted in the production of API5L pipe line; the production cost of stainless steel seamless pipe line is significantly higher than welded pipe line. With the increase of steel grade, due to carbon restrictions on steel pipe with steel grade higher than X80, seamless pipe made in conventional method could hardly meet user needs; all 12Cr1moV alloy pipes plants are currently researching on enhancing the corrosion resistance and stable working performance in different temperature levels, and in this aspect, Bebon steel has already made great remarkable progress.

Application Area

Oil Pineline

Oil pipelines are made from steel tubes which are usually buried. Carbon steel pipes are widely used for fixed oil pipelines, and according to its manufacturing methods,Carbon steel pipes are classified, namely, seamless steel pipes and welded steel pipes. Seamless pipes include hot-rolled seamless pipes and cold drawn seamless pipes. Generally speaking, carbon steel pipes whose working temperature ranges from 0 ℃ to 300 ℃ are manufactured by rimmed steel

Gas Pineline

Natural gas pipelines cover a range of seamless pipes, spiral pipes, straight seam pipes, ect. X-60 low-alloy steel (min 41,160 kPa ) are widely applied for manufacturing natural gas pipelines, and higher strength materials like X-65 and X-70 are more and more used for natural gas pipelines. Nowadays the new gas pipelines(DI above 426mm) have widely used inner coatings in order to reduce the friction within the gas pipelines.

Water Pipeline

Water pipelines combine the advantages of metal pipes and non-metal pipes. Water pipelines possess high strength, excellent rigidity and wonderful corrosion resistance, which make the water pipelines can not only used for transporting and distributing industrial water and drinking water, but also applied for transporting and discharging the industrial wastewater, sewage and rainwater. Moreover, water pipelines are the ideal pipes for sewer pipes diameter 300mm or above.
